Welcome to the Kodeco Blog
Welcome to the Kodeco Blog
It's traditional to start a new blog with a post of self-congratulation for creating a blog. Maybe to outline some impressive plans. To then follow it up with 4 posts. And then tumbleweed.
We've done the fun bit of blogging (building a platform) and now we've got to follow it up with some content. I'm not going to promise the world, but we're going to at least try.
Centralizing non-technical content
In the past, we've mixed product announcements, offer details and other non-technical content in with our learning content. We'll be pulling all those announcement posts into the blog so they're both easy to find, and easy to ignore when you're searching for content to learn from.
We've got some cool new content, product and discount announcements coming up over the first few weeks of the year, so be sure to check them out!
Pivotal point in software dev and learning
As an industry, we're at a pivotal point in software development—over the past couple of years we've been repeatedly told that software engineers will be "replaced by AI in the next 6 months". Whilst this promise has yet to come to fruition, it's undeniable that what we do is changing.
It's a very similar story over in learning—how we learn and what we learn is also undergoing a period of change.
As the premier learning platform for mobile development, we have thoughts and opinions on this. We're figuring out how to support developers as their roles change, and what we do necessarily needs to change as part of it.
We're going to use the blog as a space to share our thoughts, explaining how we think the industry is changing, and what developers need to do to move with the times. If nothing else, these posts will be entertaining to revisit in a year to see how wrong we were.
Inject it into my veins
For those of you that like supporting a nice open-standard web, you can subscribe to a blog-only RSS feed at https://www.kodeco.com/blog/feed, in addition to our main content feed at https://www.kodeco.com/feed.
For those that like supporting the monopolistic social media mega-corporations that are rotting the soul of society…we'll pop new posts on those so you won't miss anything. Provided "the algorithm" thinks it's worthy of you attention.
Conclusion
I'm going to write two more posts now, so that there's a chance we'll hit at least 4. You can look forward to them coming soon!
