About the Authors

Prateek Prasad is an engineer and a self taught designer. He started writing mobile apps when he was in high school and has a soft spot for beautifully designed products. He is a massive comic book nerd (which might have even influenced this book a little). He spends his free time listening and playing music or thinking about outer space.

About the Editors

Luke Freeman is a tech editor for this book and also the Design Lead at raywenderlich.com. Luke specializes in visual design, color, typography and user experience design. When he’s not designing and developing you can find him cooking pasta, walking his hound Hunter, watching Arsenal and playing football!

Lea Marolt Sonnenschein is a tech editor for this book. Lea spent three years in New York, working on the iOS application for Rent the Runway and teaching Swift at General Assembly. Now, she’s getting a masters in Innovation Design Engineering in London, and spends most of her time playing with sensors and microcontrollers. She writes articles focused on design and usability for raywenderlich.com, and is the author of one of the most popular video courses on the site, Reproducing Popular iOS Controls.

Sandra Grauschopf is the Editing Team Lead at raywenderlich.com. She’s an experienced writer, editor, and content manager who loves to explore the world with a book in her hand.

Matthew Morey is the final pass editor for this book. Matthew is an engineer, developer, hacker, creator, and tinkerer. As an active member of the mobile community and head of technology at Valtech he has led numerous successful mobile projects worldwide. He’s the creator of Buoy Explorer, a marine conditions app for water sports enthusiast, and Wrist Presenter, an app that lets you control presentations wirelessly with your smart watch. When not developing apps he enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and surfing.

About the Artist

Vicki Wenderlich is the designer and artist of the cover of this book. She is Ray’s wife and business partner. She is a digital artist who creates illustrations, game art and a lot of other art or design work for the tutorials and books on raywenderlich.com. When she’s not making art, she loves hiking, a good glass of wine and attempting to create the perfect cheese plate.
